Industry Specialist – EMS Standards & Features cuttack, odisha, india 0 years None Not disclosed On-site Internship

We are building Product 2: the Energy Management System (EMS) — the brain for batteries. Without it, storage is just metal. You will define what must exist in our EMS for it to meet industry standards worldwide and Indian tender requirements. You will bring clarity on: Which features are non-negotiable today (safety, scheduling, telemetry, SCADA). What Indian tenders (SECI, NTPC, DISCOM, SLDC) require in compliance, telemetry, and reporting. How global EMS systems handle ancillary services, forecasting, optimization, fleet management, and V2G. Which communication protocols matter today (Modbus, CAN, IEC 60870/61850) and which are coming (OPC UA, OCPP, IEEE). How to translate compliance language into exact engineering requirements. Your background should include: Deep knowledge of energy storage systems and grid operations . Familiarity with Indian market (SECI, NTPC, CEA, DISCOMs, SLDCs). Understanding of global EMS practices and tender language. Awareness of future trends: ancillary services, fleet EMS, grid-forming inverters. Ability to write clear specifications for engineers. This work demands urgency. We will move fast, build daily, and review daily. Expect intense discussions every day, pushing each other to higher standards. We don’t hire smart people to tell them what to do. We hire smart people so they can tell us what to do. We will challenge each other. We will argue. We will not accept “good enough.” But if we succeed, we will have built something that defines how India manages energy. Your compensation will include equity ownership.
