Operating Barrel Electroplating Plant, Acid zinc plating. 🧾 Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Electroplating Operator to handle metal finishing processes using electroplating techniques. The ideal candidate will operate plating equipment, prepare metal surfaces, and ensure coating quality standards are met as per product specifications. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: Prepare and clean metal components for electroplating Operate electroplating tanks and machinery as per safety guidelines Mix and monitor chemical solutions and plating baths Measure coating thickness and ensure surface quality meets standards Perform visual inspection for plating defects (e.g., pitting, uneven coating) Maintain log sheets, plating times, and process parameters Carry out periodic maintenance and cleaning of equipment Follow workplace safety, PPE usage, and chemical handling protocols ✅ Requirements: Minimum 10th pass / ITI in Surface Coating / Fitter / Plater (preferred) 1–3 years experience in electroplating or metal finishing industry Knowledge of plating processes (e.g., nickel, chrome, zinc, copper) Ability to understand job orders, basic measuring tools (micrometer/caliper) Awareness of chemical safety and waste disposal standards Physically fit and able to work in a factory environment
