Job Title: Logistics Executive Industry: FMCG Department: Procurement & Supply Chain Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Role Category: Supply Chain Management & Logistics Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to manage day-to-day logistics and inventory operations. The role involves overseeing stock control, goods movement, shipment coordination, and ensuring compliance with internal systems and external regulations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP (preferably MM module) and a strong understanding of logistics workflows, especially within cold chain environments. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management Track and maintain accurate stock levels. Regularly update inventory records and reconcile with purchase orders. Ensure material availability to support uninterrupted production schedules. Goods Movement Oversight: Supervise the receipt and dispatch of goods. Issue raw materials and consumables to various departments as required. Monitor and verify all stock transactions and movement entries. Transportation Coordination: Arrange for the timely transport of goods from suppliers to warehouses or distribution centers. Collaborate with transport providers to ensure efficient delivery schedules. Shipment Planning & Scheduling: Prepare and manage delivery schedules to meet customer timelines. Plan and organize shipments to ensure prompt order fulfillment. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve delivery or inventory issues. Ensure clear and timely communication across departments and external partners. Export Logistics Management: Oversee export order processing including inventory planning and order placement. Handle all aspects of export documentation and compliance. Coordinate logistics for timely international shipments. Regulatory & System Compliance: Ensure inventory data accuracy in both physical and SAP systems. Prepare and manage shipping documents such as STOs, e-way bills, and invoices. Adhere to all applicable legal and regulatory guidelines. Reporting & Analysis: Generate regular reports and dashboards for management review. Provide actionable insights on inventory status, logistics efficiency, and shipment timelines. Candidate Requirements: Education: Graduate in any discipline. Experience: 35 years of hands-on experience in Stores, Logistics, or related supply chain functions. Skills & Tools: Strong working knowledge of SAP (preferably MM module). Familiarity with cold supply chain operations will be considered a significant advantage. Good organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
