Key Responsibilities Plan and design infrastructure projects, including highways, drainage systems, and buildings. Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and analyze survey data. Prepare engineering reports, project specifications, and construction documentation. Ensure projects comply with environmental, safety, and legal regulations. Assess potential risks, manage budgets, and ensure projects are completed on schedule. Use CAD software and modeling tools for drafting plans and creating blueprints. Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design and quality standards. Coordinate with architects, contractors, stakeholders, and government agencies. Provide technical guidance, problem-solving, and on-site supervision during project execution. Core Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (required). Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering software. In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and legal standards. Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Good communication and coordination abilities for teamwork and stakeholder engagement. Professional Engineer (PE) license is often preferred or required. Typical experience required: 1–3+ years in civil engineering or related infrastructure projects.
