Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Shift Incharge to join our team in Rishra. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing melting operations, moulding, and pouring processes in a foundry setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metallurgy and quality control, with excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and maintain melting parameters, charge preparation, and raw material inspection

- Supervise moulding and pouring processes, ensuring timely pouring with correct metal temperature

- Conduct basic metallurgical tests and coordinate with QC team to ensure compliance

- Maintain daily production and melting logs, analyze rejections, and assist in root cause analysis

- Manage shopfloor workers, ensure productivity, and maintain safety and housekeeping standards

- Coordinate with maintenance team to reduce downtime and ensure equipment operationality

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, kaizen, and cost control.

Requirements:

- Diploma or ITI in Metallurgy, Mechanical, or Foundry Technology

- 5-6 years of experience in DI/CI/steel foundries

- Basic knowledge of melting practices, casting defects, and sand systems

- Familiarity with safety and quality standards in foundry operations

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
