Position: Shift In-Charge / Engineer – Mechanical

Plant-based (Sponge Iron Division)

Qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

• 05 – 08 years in Mechanical Maintenance within Sponge Iron / Steel / Heavy Engineering industries
• Hands-on experience in rotary kiln, compressors, conveyors, pumps, and related plant machinery

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and execute shift-wise mechanical maintenance activities in the plant.
• Ensure smooth operation of equipment, reducing downtime through preventive & corrective maintenance.
• Monitor and maintain kilns, blowers, compressors, gearboxes, and utility equipment.
• Coordinate with production and electrical teams for troubleshooting and breakdown support.
• Maintain shift logs, maintenance records, and spare parts planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety and statutory standards during all maintenance activities.
• Guide and monitor maintenance technicians/operators during shift operations.
