Soft Skills Compassion, patience, and empathy. Reliability and ability to work independently in a home setting. Good hygiene and physical stamina. Value-Added Skills Training in palliative care or dementia care. Experience with medical equipment (catheters, oxygen concentrators, feeding tubes). Feeding Care: Assist with oral and tube feeding, monitor swallowing, follow diet plans, and ensure proper nutrition and hydration. Patient Bathing: Provide safe bed baths or assisted showers, maintain hygiene and dignity, and observe skin health. Diaper Changing: Perform clean, hygienic diaper changes, prevent rashes or infections, and ensure patient comfort and privacy. Other Key Abilities: Administer medications and monitor vitals Support mobility and daily activities Communicate with empathy and professionalism (especially with elderly or bedridden patients).
