Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Kolkata, West Bengal. The Accountant will oversee financial transactions and maintain records, reconcile accounts, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with taxation and other regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include accounts payable and receivable management, budgeting, conducting internal audits, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. Qualifications Accounting and financial management skills, including proficiency in creating financial statements and account reconciliation Proficiency in using accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar tools Knowledge of Indian tax regulations and compliance, including GST and income tax return filing Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA or equivalent certification is a plus) Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members Experience in the mining or manufacturing sector is a plus
