Job Description – Weighbridge Operator (Trainee / Junior) Position: Weighbridge Operator Department: Operations / Logistics Location: Donde Khurd, Raipur Reporting To: Mill Supervisor / Factory Manager Job Purpose To operate the weighbridge system for recording accurate weight of incoming and outgoing vehicles, maintain records, and ensure smooth coordination between production, dispatch, and accounts teams. Key Responsibilities Operate the weighbridge for weighing trucks carrying raw materials and finished goods. Record vehicle details, weight data (gross, tare, net) in the system/register. Issue weighment slips / gate passes to drivers. Verify documents and coordinate with security for vehicle entry/exit. Maintain proper logbooks, daily reports, and submit to office/accounts. Ensure no malpractices or discrepancies in weighing. Keep weighbridge area neat and follow safety rules. Key Skills & Competencies Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel / Weighbridge software training will be given). Attention to detail and accuracy in recording data. Honest, disciplined, and responsible. Good communication to deal with drivers, staff, and office. Willingness to work in shifts.
