Job Title: Shadow Teacher (Special Educator / Teacher for Children with Special Needs)

Location: Epistemo Vikas Leadership School, Nallagandla, Hyderabad
Timings: Monday to Friday, 8:10 AM – 3:30 PM
Start Date: Immediate

Job Purpose:

To provide individualized support to a child within the classroom environment, helping them integrate academically, socially, and emotionally, while working closely with the main teacher, coordinator, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to the assigned child during school hours
• Assist the child with academic activities, classroom tasks, and transitions
• Support social interaction and communication skills development
• Help manage behavioral and emotional challenges effectively
• Encourage and guide the child toward greater independence
• Maintain regular reports on the child's progress and challenges
• Communicate updates or concerns to the parents and school coordinator as needed
• Collaborate with class teachers and special educators to align support strategies
• Ensure the child's safety, inclusion, and well-being during school hours
• Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity regarding the child's needs

Requirements:

• Female candidates only
• Prior experience as a shadow teacher or working with children
• Experience with special children (e.g., autism, ADHD, learning difficulties) is preferred
• Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
• Ability to maintain observation logs and written reports
• Empathetic, patient, and collaborative mindset

Salary: ₹16,000 – ₹18,000 per month
