Job Summary We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Hospitality Accountant to manage financial operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate tracking of revenue and expenses, compliance with industry regulations, and provide financial insights to support business growth in the hospitality sector. Key Responsibilities 1. Revenue and Expense Management: o Monitor daily financial transactions, including room revenue, food & beverage sales, and other departmental income. o Manage accounts payable (vendor payments) and receivable (corporate accounts, event bookings). 2. Financial Reconciliation: o Reconcile daily revenue reports with Point of Sale (POS) systems and property management systems (PMS). o Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly. 3. Financial Reporting: o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. o Generate and analyze reports such as profit-and-loss statements, occupancy statistics, and food cost percentages. 5. Audit and Internal Controls: o Support internal and external audits by providing accurate financial documentation. o Implement and maintain robust internal controls to prevent revenue leakages. 6.
