Key Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Quality Strategy & Planning Develop and execute the quality roadmap aligned with business goals. Drive quality initiatives to ensure zero-defect manufacturing of CNC machines and components. 2. Quality Management System (QMS) Establish and maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant certifications. Lead internal and external audits, and ensure all departments comply with QMS standards. 3. CNC Manufacturing Quality Control Supervise quality checks at each stage—raw material, in-process, final inspection, and pre-dispatch. Set and monitor tolerances for precision components using CMM, profile projectors, and other metrology tools. Develop standard inspection procedures for parts like spindles, tool holders, linear guides, etc. 4. Supplier & Vendor Quality Audit and qualify vendors supplying critical CNC parts like castings, bearings, drive systems, and control panels. Implement vendor rating systems and drive continuous improvement with suppliers. 5. Product Testing & Validation Oversee the validation of machine performance parameters like accuracy, repeatability, backlash, vibration, and spindle run-out. Ensure machines meet customer-specific and international standards (e.g., VDI/DGQ, ISO 230). 6. Process & Production Integration Work closely with the Production and Design teams to ensure manufacturability and quality are built into the product design. Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions (RCA & CAPA) for in-house or field failures. 7. Customer Quality & Support Investigate customer complaints, conduct failure analysis, and implement corrective/preventive measures. Coordinate with service teams to track field performance and quality trends. 8. Team Leadership & Training Build, train, and lead the QA/QC team with a focus on technical expertise and quality mindset. Conduct regular training for inspection, drawing reading, GD&T, and use of precision instruments. 9. Tools & Techniques Apply Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and SPC tools for process and product improvements. Maintain and calibrate all quality equipment and instruments. 10. Reporting & Analytics Develop and track key quality metrics: NCRs, customer complaints, rework, cost of poor quality (COPQ). Present quality performance reports to top management and propose data-driven improvements. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
