About The Opportunity
The Workforce Management Implementation Consultant participates in all stages of the implementation lifecycle including discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, and postgo-live support under the direction of the Project Manager. This role may lead one or more implementation activities as needed.Project responsibilities include gathering customer requirements, configuring the Ceridian solution to meet documented needs, setting and managing customer expectations, providing guidance to Associate Consultants, identifying risks, and communicating issues to the Project Manager.
What You'll Get To Do
- Provide implementation services to customers across various industries
- Document and validate customer business requirements and map them to Ceridian functionality
- Configure the Ceridian application to meet each customer's documented requirements
- Conduct consulting sessions both virtually and in person and record detailed meeting minutes
- Attend internal project meetings and provide progress updates on activities and deliverables
- Offer follow-up consulting and general assistance in areas of expertise after go-live
- Act as a go-to resource for specific functional areas for internal and external users
- Contribute to internal implementation initiatives and help document reusable solutions
- Support internal knowledge sharing by responding to questions and providing feedback
- Participate in continuing education sessions and complete new release training on time
- Stay current on new and enhanced functionality with each product release
Skills And Experience We Value
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Five or more years of experience in a software implementation role or at least two years in a Time and Attendance, Rostering, HR, or Payroll software environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with software in a SaaS or cloud computing environment
- Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL is an asset
- Knowledge of common human capital management (HCM) business practices
- Understanding of multiple industries and how software supports their business operations
- Strong customer relationship management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
