Job Description

As a ServiceNow L2 Administrator at Barclays, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing software using various engineering methodologies to deliver business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. Your role will involve supporting various modules within ServiceNow, including Change, Incident, Knowledge, Problem, CMDB, Discovery, Security Operations, and Service Catalogue. You must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow Devops Administrator and possess troubleshooting skills related to SN Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Include, and Background Scripts. Additionally, familiarity with ServiceNow web services, APIs, and Mid serves is required. Being flexible to work in shifts aligned with India and UK time zones is essential for this role. Highly valued skills that may benefit you in this position include ServiceNow workflow configuration and flow designer expertise, knowledge of JavaScripting, certification as a ServiceNow System Administrator, and excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. In this role based in Pune, you will be accountable for developing and delivering high-quality software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define software requirements, conducting code reviews, staying updated on industry technology trends, and adhering to secure coding practices. You will also be responsible for implementing effective unit testing practices to ensure code design, readability, and reliability. You are expected to demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge, lead and supervise a team, promote a culture of code quality, and contribute to technical excellence within the organization. Whether holding leadership responsibilities or acting as an individual contributor, you will have an impact on related teams and collaborate with other functions and business areas to deliver operational activities effectively. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing risk, strengthening controls, embedding new policies and procedures, advising decision-making, and ensuring compliance with relevant rules and regulations. Your role will involve resolving problems, guiding and persuading team members, acting as a contact point for stakeholders, and building a network of contacts both within and outside the organization.
