Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Customer Interaction: Greeting guests and seating them at tables. Presenting menus and explaining specials. Taking food and drink orders accurately. Answering questions about the menu and making recommendations. Service Delivery: Serving food and beverages to guests. Ensuring timely delivery of orders. Checking on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction. Refilling drinks and providing any necessary condiments or utensils. Table Maintenance: Clearing finished plates and glasses promptly. Keeping tables clean and organized. Payment Processing: Presenting checks to guests. Processing payments accurately. Handling cash and credit card transactions. Collaboration: Communicating effectively with kitchen staff regarding orders and special requests. Working as part of a team to ensure smooth service. Skills and Qualities: Customer service skills: Friendly demeanor, patience, and the ability to handle customer complaints or concerns. Communication skills: Clear and effective verbal communication to take orders and interact with guests. Multitasking and organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, such as taking orders, serving food, and clearing tables. Physical stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays of food and drinks. Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in orders and providing attentive service. Ability to work under pressure: Maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork: Working collaboratively with other staff members. Memorization: Ability to remember orders and menu items.
