Service Engineer Genset Electrical

As a Junior Service Engineer specializing in Genset Electrical at Goel Power Engineers LLP, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring the optimal performance of diesel generators. With a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 3 years of work experience, you will be responsible for handling electrical servicing, installation, and commissioning of DG sets across various locations including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Surat, Vashi, and Raipur. Your expertise in control panels, load sharing, and power management systems will be instrumental in your success in this role. You will be expected to diagnose and repair issues in alternators, control panels, and wiring systems, as well as interpret and implement synchronization panel diagrams for multi-gen set operations. Additionally, you will assist in load sharing, AMF (Auto Mains Failure), and ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) panel integration, conduct testing and system calibration, and support AMC contracts and warranty claims. Ensuring compliance with CEIG, EB approvals, and electrical safety regulations will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, along with maintaining proper service records, technical documentation, and reports. To excel in this role, you should possess a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering and have a minimum of 3-7 years of experience in genset electrical servicing, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Your technical skills should include a strong knowledge of synchronization panels, load sharing, and control systems, hands-on experience with AMF panels, ATS, and generator paralleling systems, the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics & synchronization diagrams, and familiarity with PLC-based control systems and DG set automation. Additionally, strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills are essential for this position. Preferred qualifications for this role include experience in handling large-scale genset installations and service operations.
