Service Bulletin Author

As an SB Author in the Aerospace Technical Publications team, your role will involve independently authoring and revising Standard Service Bulletins (SB) for Airbus aircraft programs, specifically in the Airframe (ATA 5057) and Hydro Mechanical & Cargo systems (ATA 11, 12, 21, 25, 26, 28, 29, 32, 33, 7X) domains. Your responsibilities will include: - Authoring and revising/legacy Service Bulletins as per SBO requirements. - Performing configuration analysis to identify pre- and post-mod drawings (RSE/UPG process). - Applying Airbus documentation standards like S1000D, iSpec2200, ASD-STE100. - Conducting technical analysis of criteria and related data sources. - Studying aircraft zones and access to define work locations. - Authoring SBs using tools such as SAMM, DACAST, AKSY, GIDOC, AGYPSY, Airn@v, ZAMIZ, PASS, SSCI, APS. - Working with SAP PCS for configuration and data management. - Handling cold working SBs and related procedures. - Estimating timelines and committing realistically to project schedules. - Communicating actively with customers to resolve queries. - Performing mock-up and authoring using Arbortext or Epic Editor. - Maintaining quality (RFT) and KPIs for assigned tasks. - Ensuring on-time delivery (OTD) and managing workload effectively. - Following workflow processes including INC, DCR, and quality checks. - Conducting root cause analysis using 5 Why and 8D methods (NCR handling).
