A service advisor acts as the main point of contact between customers and the service department at an automotive dealership, handling customer inquiries, scheduling services, explaining repair needs, providing estimates and advice, and coordinating with technicians and the parts department to ensure repairs are completed smoothly and to customer satisfaction. Key duties include managing the workflow of the service center, communicating technical information clearly, managing customer expectations, and potentially upselling products and services.
