Server-Side & DevOps Engineer (AWS Infrastructure)

As the ideal candidate for this role, you will fully own the server-side operations, DevOps workflows, and AWS infrastructure management. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including capacity planning, monitoring, deployment automation, performance tuning, and scaling support. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage various AWS services including EC2, RDS, ElastiCache, WAF, CloudFront, S3, and VPC. - Prepare capacity statements to ensure the system can scale effectively for peak event days. - Take charge of CI/CD using tools like CodePipeline, Docker, deployments, and maintaining environment stability. - Monitor system performance, identify and resolve bottlenecks, optimize APIs, caching mechanisms, and database queries. - Set up alerts, logs, real-time monitoring solutions, and incident response protocols. - Design and implement a secure, cost-efficient, and reliable architecture to support the infrastructure. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong experience with AWS and DevOps practices. - Proficiency in Linux, Docker, CI/CD, and Git. - Understanding of backend performance, with knowledge of Python/Django being a plus. - Ability to work effectively under pressure during live event operations. - Excellent communication skills and a confident problem-solving mindset.
