Role Overview: You will be working as an L2 F5 Network Engineer at NTT DATA, responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and support of the F5 load-balancing infrastructure. Your role will include providing Level 2 support for incidents and service requests related to DMZ SLBs and perimeter GSLBs, performing routine health checks, executing change requests, assisting with security audits, and ensuring application traffic flows securely through the DMZ and across multiple data centers. Key Responsibilities: - Provide Level 2 support for all incidents and service requests related to DMZ SLBs and perimeter GSLBs, resolving complex issues escalated from L1 teams. - Perform routine health checks, proactive monitoring, and performance tuning of the load balancing infrastructure. - Execute change requests for network and security modifications, following strict change management protocols. - Assist with regular patching, software upgrades, and hardware maintenance of F5 BIG-IP devices and other related infrastructure. - Implement and enforce network security policies and best practices specific to the banking sector. - Act as a liaison between L1 and L3 support teams, developers, and project managers. - Assist with security audits, provide evidence of compliance, and address any security or vulnerability findings related to the load balancing environment. - Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and coordinate with different departments/stakeholders for incident analysis and remedial action. Qualification Required: - Education: BE/B-Tech/BCA or masters degree in CS/IT - Certification: CEH/CCNA/CCNP (R&S) + OEM F5 Certification F5-CTS /F5-CSE (2 certifications) - Experience: 4-6 years relevant experience - Technology (OEM): F5 BIG-IP (LTM & GTM), TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, and R&S protocols (BGP, OSPF), SSL/TLS, VPNs - Skills: Candidate should have in-depth knowledge of LTM, GTM, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, and R&S protocols (BGP, OSPF) Please note that NTT DATA is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and the workplace type for this role is On-site Working.
