- Education: Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronics
- Experience: Minimum
5 years of experience in testing of railway products.
Hands-on experience with electrical testing methods including HV/LV tests, insulation resistance, leakage, load, performance, control systems, vibration, shock, thermal cycling and other tests. - Experience or understanding of metro rail, rolling stock, and auxiliary/power converters used in Indian Railways
- Ability to read
electrical and mechanical schematics
- Proficiency in complex troubleshooting techniques
- Knowledge of electrical measurements
- Familiarity with safety culture while working on high voltages (25KV)
- Proficient in English and Hindi languages
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong teamwork, decision-making, communication, and ethical behaviour
- Flexible to work in shift pattern.

- You'll play a vital role in ensuring the successful realization of project and product testing in alignment with our high standards and delivery schedules. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, such as Test Engineering Engineers, Project T&C Managers, Train Managers, Validation Engineers, and Industrial Quality Engineers, to ensure smooth operations, resolve challenges, and meet key performance indicators.
- You’ll specifically take care of conducting tests as per procedures and documenting results, but also work on improving operational activities for better productivity.
We’ll look to you for:
- Gaining a clear and comprehensive understanding of acceptance criteria
- Participating in the handover process from manufacturing
- Ensuring tests are conducted according to procedures and results are accurately recorded
- Ensuring the availability of tools required for testing activities
- Proposing and implementing new ideas to improve operational activities and meet productivity targets
- Consolidating and documenting test reports
- Implementing and deploying methods, tools, and best practices at the transport level, such as APSYS
- Regularly consolidating and monitoring project KPIs
- Managing interfaces and fostering effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Resolving disputes with team members constructively
- Developing personal competencies as per development plans
- Ensuring T&C activities and operating areas comply with site EHS requirements
- Reporting deviations, near-misses, and accidents
- Demonstrating excellent EHS behaviour
