Key Responsibilities 1. Operations & Coordination Manage booking, scheduling, and execution of sea and air shipments . Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, co-loaders, consolidators, and overseas agents. Track cargo status, monitor transit times, and proactively resolve exceptions/delays. Arrange inland transportation and ensure timely pickup/delivery. 2. Documentation & Compliance Prepare and verify Bill of Lading, Air Waybill, commercial invoices, packing lists, COO, etc. Ensure compliance with Incoterms, international trade regulations, and customs procedures . Liaise with customs brokers and port/airport authorities for smooth clearance. Maintain accurate shipment records and filing systems. 3. Customer Service Serve as the key contact for clients regarding shipment updates and inquiries. Provide timely shipment visibility, tracking reports, and status notifications. Resolve customer issues with a problem-solving, customer-first approach. 4. Pricing & Cost Control Obtain and negotiate freight rates from carriers, airlines, and agents. Prepare and share quotations with clients in line with company pricing policies. Verify vendor invoices and coordinate with the finance team for billing and collections. 5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement Prepare MIS reports, shipment KPIs, and cost analyses. Suggest process improvements to reduce lead times and optimize costs.
