About The Role We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Packaging Engineer who can help us design innovative, functional, and visually appealing packaging structures — especially folding cartons for products like tea, wellness items, and personal care goods. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering precision and creative structure, with a strong grasp of materials, prototyping, and real-world manufacturability. Key Responsibilities Design structural packaging concepts for folding cartons and specialty boxes (e.g., tea boxes, gift packs). Translate creative ideas into production-ready die lines using CAD software. Develop and test functional prototypes — considering product protection, - sustainability, cost, and user experience. Collaborate with graphic designers, printers, and production vendors to ensure feasibility and quality. Recommend materials and finishes based on the brand, functionality, and environmental goals. Keep abreast of industry trends and innovations in packaging structures and materials. Key Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field. 1-2 years of experience in packaging development or structural design. Proficiency in ArtiosCAD, Esko, SolidWorks, or equivalent packaging CAD tools. Experience creating and reviewing dielines, prototypes, and mockups. Understanding of printing techniques (offset, flexo, digital), paperboard types, and post-press finishes (emboss, foil, UV, etc.). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
