SEO & Content Writer

MillionTech is looking for a dedicated SEO Executive (0–2+ years) to join our digital marketing team in Kolkata. Whether you are a fresher with strong knowledge of SEO or an experienced professional looking to advance your career — we’d love to hear from you.

If you have hands-on experience (or strong foundational knowledge) in improving website rankings, conducting keyword research, content writing, and implementing on-page/off-page SEO strategies, this role is ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic visibility and traffic.
• Conduct detailed keyword research using tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Keyword Planner.
• Perform on-page SEO: meta tags, headers, schema, internal linking, URL optimisation, content optimisation, etc.
• Execute off-page SEO: backlink building, outreach, directory submissions, Web 2.0, and citation building.
• Perform technical SEO audits to fix crawling, indexing, Core Web Vitals, and site structure issues.
• Track website performance using Google Search Console & Google Analytics.
• Analyse competitor websites to identify ranking gaps and opportunities.
• Collaborate with the content team — strong content writing skills are a plus.
• Work with the web development team to support SEO improvements and overall site growth.

Required Skills

• 0–2+ years of proven SEO experience — freshers with good knowledge may apply.
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page & technical SEO fundamentals.
• Ability to research topics and craft basic SEO-friendly content.
• Experience using SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, GA4) is preferred.
• Good understanding of search engine ranking factors and algorithm updates.
• Strong communication, analytical skills, and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduation (any stream) is mandatory.
• Experience in a digital marketing agency is an added advantage.
