Job Overview

We are looking for a result-oriented SEO Associate with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO). The ideal candidate should understand how modern search works across Google Search, Featured Snippets, People Also Ask (PAA), voice search, and AI-powered answer engines, and be capable of executing SEO strategies that improve organic visibility and traffic.

Key Responsibilities1. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

• Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and opportunity identification
• Execute on-page SEO (meta tags, headings, URLs, internal linking, content optimisation)
• Conduct technical SEO audits and coordinate fixes with the development team
• Improve content optimisation based on search intent and user behaviour
• Support and monitor off-page SEO activities (link building, outreach, citations)
• Track SEO performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools

2. Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO)

• Research and optimise question-based and conversational queries
• Create and optimise content for Featured Snippets and People Also Ask (PAA)
• Structure content using FAQs, bullet points, tables, and concise answers
• Optimise content for voice search (Google Assistant, Alexa)
• Support schema-aware optimisation (FAQ, HowTo, Article – with tech/content teams)

3. Content Optimisation & Strategy

• Collaborate with content writers to produce SEO & AEO-optimised content
• Refresh and optimise existing content to improve rankings and answer coverage
• Ensure content aligns with E-E-A-T and search quality guidelines
• Assist in content planning based on keyword and AEO opportunities

4. Reporting & Analysis

• Track keyword rankings, traffic, and engagement metrics
• Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports
• Analyse data to identify growth opportunities and optimisation gaps
• Monitor algorithm updates and emerging SEO/AEO trends

Required Skills & QualificationsMust-Have Skills

• 1–2 years of practical SEO experience
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and basic technical SEO
• Working knowledge of AEO, featured snippets, and PAA optimisation
• Ability to analyse data and convert insights into actions
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Tools & Technical Knowledge

• Google Search Console & Google Analytics
• SEO tools: SEMrush / Ahrefs / Ubersuggest
• CMS platforms like WordPress
• Basic understanding of HTML tags and schema markup concepts
• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT for SEO assistance (not dependency)

Preferred (Bonus) Skills

• Experience with voice search optimisation
• Exposure to schema markup implementation
• Knowledge of E-E-A-T and helpful content guidelines
• Experience working with content writers or developers
• Experience in SaaS, Tech, or Agency environment

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per year
