Responsibilities ============== Build advanced web applications based on user interface design concepts Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and quality Key skills ========= You are an expert in HTML5, CSS3/LESS/SASS, JavaScript Knowledge and experience in working with development frameworks such as AngularJS or similar Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON Experience with third-party libraries and APIs You have experience developing mobile first, responsive websites You have experience in translating UI designs into reality and actively push the boundaries on the UI design possibilities Deep and cutting edge knowledge of the general web landscape, architectures, trends and emerging standards You have well-honed approaches to increase page load speed, manage cross browser compatibility issues and usability of the site across devices Good understanding and experience in implementing SEO principles and best practices Experience in integrating web analytics and other third party applications for tracking user behavior on site will be a plus Knowledge of build tools such as Grunt/Gulp and version control tools such as Git Good written and verbal communication skills You should be ============ A keen learner, open to understanding new technologies and frameworks An active participant in decisions, and enjoy working in a fast paced, collaborative startup environment An ability to challenge status quo and look for improvements Love creating web applications that are truly awesome.
