Job Description Deploy, configure, and manage Oracle WebLogic Servers . Administer and manage both Linux and Windows servers : Linux: install applications, analyze logs, edit configuration files. Windows: install applications, start/stop services, analyze logs. Support automation efforts to monitor and diagnose system health, streamline processes, and ensure seamless operations. Perform administrative functions for WebLogic Server, including maintenance, performance tuning, optimization, governance, and troubleshooting . Manage the end-to-end deployment of Java EE applications on WebLogic Server. Collaborate with Engineering, Services, and Support teams to improve processes and provide daily operational support. Create and enhance automation and alerting scripts . Manage installation and optimization of critical Oracle security patch updates . Provide on-call support for rotating application deployments and 24/7 production operations. Write shell scripts and WLST scripts to automate operational tasks. Maintain and publish internal documentation related to services, configurations, and permission groups. Apply basic networking knowledge (firewall rules, ports, database links) for troubleshooting and configuration. Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Oracle WebCenter tools and WebLogic Server . 3+ years working with observability tools ( New Relic, Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog ). 3+ years in DevOps engineering, supporting and maintaining 24x7 hybrid (cloud and on-premise) production environments . Strong programming/scripting skills ( Bash, Python, or similar ). Ability to analyze thread and heap dumps for performance troubleshooting. Experience with cloud migrations for applications. Experience with Oracle DBMS and/or Oracle Fusion (preferred). Relevant Oracle certifications (OCA, WebLogic Server, or higher) are a strong plus. Familiarity with GitLab, Jira, and Confluence .
