Senior/Software Development Engineer in Test

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at PubMatic, you will be responsible for the following: - Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Python/Java for API and UI testing. - Perform 100% automation-focused SDET role. - Design, write, and execute comprehensive test cases for complex scenarios. - Conduct REST API automated testing to validate backend functionality and business flow integrations. - Utilize databases, preferably MySQL, to validate data integrity. - Enhance existing automation frameworks and propose new solutions to improve efficiency. - Integrate and maintain automation frameworks within CI/CD pipelines. - Leverage Gen AI to optimize automation and testing processes. - Identify, report, and track defects to resolution. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases. Requirements: - 2 to 4 years of total work experience. - Minimum 1 year of experience in Python/Java automation is mandatory. - Good understanding of REST/API testing. - Experience with databases, preferably MySQL. - Experience with CI tools will be beneficial. - Strong test case writing skills for complex scenarios. Qualification: - B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in CS/IT.
