Senior/Software Development Engineer in Test

Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Python/Java for API and UI testing. - Focus solely on automation in the SDET role. - Design, write, and execute comprehensive test cases for complex scenarios. - Conduct REST API automated testing to validate backend functionality and business flow integrations. - Utilize databases, preferably MySQL, to validate data integrity. - Enhance existing automation frameworks and propose new solutions for improved efficiency. - Integrate and maintain automation frameworks within CI/CD pipelines. - Leverage Gen AI to optimize automation and testing processes. - Identify, report, and track defects to resolution. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases. Requirements: - Total work experience of 2 to 4 years. - Mandatory minimum of 1 year of experience in Python/Java automation. - Good understanding of REST/API testing. - Proficiency in working with databases, preferably MySQL. - Experience with CI tools would be beneficial. - Strong test case writing skills for complex scenarios.
