Description
Role Overview: As an IoT Solution Developer at MULTIVAC Technology Solutions India Private Ltd, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain IoT applications and systems to collect, process, and analyze data from connected MULTIVAC lines. You will also be involved in monitoring and troubleshooting IoT solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability for our customers. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain comprehensive documentation for IoT projects, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams globally. Being updated with the latest IoT trends and technologies and acting as a mentor for team members will also be part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain IoT applications and systems for collecting, processing, and analyzing data from MULTIVAC lines - Continuously monitor and troubleshoot IoT solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability - Maintain comprehensive documentation for IoT projects including code, configurations, and system architecture - Participate in code review and unit testing of developed solutions - Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams spread across the globe - Stay updated with the latest IoT trends and technologies - Act as a mentor for team members, providing guidance, sharing knowledge, and fostering a collaborative learning environment Qualifications Required: - Engineering bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field - Minimum 7 years of experience in implementation, with at least 3 years focused on designing IoT and edge computing solutions - Strong programming skills in Python - Proficiency with cloud and edge architectures, particularly with Azure - Experience with IoT communication protocols and standards such as MQTT, AMQP, OPC-UA - Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Docker - Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions) - Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Professional Attributes: - Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal - Exposure to German language/culture is a plus - Experience in working with global stakeholders and ability to work with intercultural teams - Extensive experience collaborating in SCRUM-based Agile teams - Flexibility to work according to German time zones - Available for short-term international travel for meetings, training, and project activities About the Company: MULTIVAC Technology Solutions India Private Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of the MULTIVAC Group, a leading global provider of integrated packaging and processing solutions for various industries.
