Senior/Jr GIS Operations Manager

As a Senior Operations Manager at DATAPKT Private Limited, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of drone-based survey and mapping projects. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Assisting in planning, execution, and monitoring of drone survey projects. - Coordinating with field teams, vendors, and clients to ensure timely operations. - Maintaining project records, documentation, and daily progress reports. - Helping track and manage team expenses and ensuring reporting to management. - Identifying process issues and suggesting operational improvements. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - 5-10 years of experience in operations or field coordination, with freshers also welcome. - Excellent communication and coordination skills. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Basic knowledge of MS Excel and documentation tools. Moreover, you are expected to be an expert in GIS and Remote Sensing Softwares such as: - ESRI ArcGIS Suite (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server) - QGIS (Open-source alternative, plugins) - Global Mapper - AutoCAD / Civil 3D (for GIS-CAD integration) - DGPS / GNSS Survey Tools (Trimble, Leica, Topcon) - Total Station data handling - Drone Survey Processing Software: Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape, DJI Terra - Satellite imagery analysis (Sentinel, Landsat, PlanetScope, WorldView, etc.) - LiDAR data processing (LAStools, TerraScan, ArcGIS LiDAR toolset) - Hyperspectral/Multi-spectral image analysis Joining DATAPKT will offer you the opportunity to work on cutting-edge drone technology, real-world infrastructure projects, and be part of a dynamic and supportive team.
