Senior WordPress Developer

As a Senior WordPress Developer at Websadroit in Kolkata, your role involves working closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders to build secure, optimized, and scalable WordPress websites and plugins. You will be responsible for developing custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch, building full websites using Elementor and other page builder plugins, converting Figma designs into responsive HTML/CSS layouts, working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, handling website performance, optimization, and migrations, using Git and project tracking tools for collaboration, troubleshooting issues, and providing ongoing support to clients. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch - Build full websites using Elementor and other page builder plugins - Convert Figma designs into responsive HTML/CSS layouts - Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery - Handle website performance, optimization, and migrations - Use Git and project tracking tools for collaboration - Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support to clients **Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field - 1+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress development - Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) In addition to your technical expertise in WordPress, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Elementor, and similar page builders, you should have experience with Custom Post Types, taxonomies, theme structure, web security, accessibility, and coding standards. You are expected to write optimized, well-structured, and maintainable code, be familiar with Git version control, and demonstrate the ability to work independently, collaborate as a team player, learn and grow with the company, and effectively manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
