As a Senior Video Editor at our production house, you will be the master of the timeline, a storyteller in disguise, and a post-production Picasso. Your role will involve owning the edit process from raw rushes to final render, focusing on narrative, pace, rhythm, sound, and soul. Additionally, you will provide creative leadership by guiding the edit team, mentoring junior editors, conducting reviews, and maintaining high standards. Project management will be a key responsibility where you will oversee timelines, versions, backups, and revisions efficiently. Your expertise in maintaining style and consistency by upholding the brand tone across projects while adding your unique flair will be crucial. Collaboration with directors, producers, content strategists, and animators to bring impactful ideas to the screen is essential. Mastery in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, and plugins will be expected. Furthermore, your ability to coordinate with teams in both India and Canada seamlessly will be valuable as creativity knows no time zone.
