Senior Video Editor

Role & responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

1. Edit raw wedding footage into highlight reels, full ceremony videos, social media teasers, and other requested deliverables
2. Select appropriate music, apply color correction, transitions, audio mixing, and effects to enhance storytelling3. Maintain a consistent style and tone that aligns with the brand or client expectations4. Collaborate with videographers, producers, and clients for feedback and revisions5. Stay up-to-date with editing trends, wedding cinematography styles, and new software/tools6. Manage media organization, file naming conventions, and backups

Preferred candidate profile

• Expert-level proficiency

  in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe After Effects.
• A keen eye for detail, color grading, audio mixing, and pacing to create emotionally compelling narratives.
• Strong understanding of different wedding cultures and traditions to deliver personalized and meaningful edits.

• Excellent time management skills

  , with the ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• A proactive and collaborative attitude, open to feedback and capable of leading or mentoring junior editors when needed.
• Experience working with raw footage from a variety of camera setups, including multi-cam and drone footage.
