Senior TPF Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications on the

  TPF/ALCS platform

  .
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand airline operational requirements.
• Optimize and troubleshoot performance issues in

  real-time transaction processing systems

  .
• Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers in TPF best practices.
• Ensure compliance with airline industry standards and security protocols.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and integration projects.
• Document technical specifications and maintain system architecture diagrams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years

  of hands-on experience in

  TPF/ALCS development

  .
• Proficiency in

  SabreTalk

  ,

  Assembler (IBM BAL)

  ,

  C/C++

  , and

  TPF Toolkit

  .
• Strong understanding of

  airline reservation, departure control, or flight operations systems

  .
• Experience with

  z/TPF debugging tools

  , dumps analysis, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with

  mainframe environments

  , including JCL and VSAM.
