Senior Test Engineer

As a highly skilled Automated Testing Engineer at Cosmic Insights, you will play a crucial role in the development, maintenance, and execution of automated test scripts for mobile (iOS, Android) and web applications. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with developers, product teams, and DevOps engineers to ensure high-quality, bug-free releases and seamless user experiences. You will be utilizing test automation tools such as Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, Selenium, and Cypress to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for both mobile and web platforms. Additionally, you will integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid deployments. Basic knowledge of astrology is considered a plus for this role and will be given preference. It is essential to stay updated with the latest trends in mobile and web automation testing to optimize and enhance testing frameworks for scalability and efficiency. Key responsibilities will include performing functional, regression, performance, and security tests for mobile and web applications, as well as API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI. You will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs, collaborating with developers for timely resolution, and ensuring cross-platform compatibility across various devices, screen sizes, and operating systems. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with test automation tools for mobile applications, proficiency in programming/scripting languages, and knowledge of integrating tests with CI/CD tools. Familiarity with performance testing tools and mobile UI/UX testing principles is also desirable. Experience with version control systems is a plus for this role.,
