Job Description

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer (SDET) at UST Global, you will be an integral part of the Quality Engineering team working for a prominent financial services client. With over 5 years of experience, you will showcase your expertise in test automation, API testing, and framework development using tools like Selenium, Python, Java, and CI/CD pipelines. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for both UI and API testing. - Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA team to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Lead test planning, estimation, execution, and defect reporting activities. - Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for defects and implement preventive measures. - Formulate test strategies, RTMs, test data plans, and test environments. - Contribute towards enhancing test automation frameworks utilizing tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, etc. - Monitor and report testing progress, KPIs, and project metrics. - Engage in governance calls and provide stakeholder updates. - Ensure the delivery of quality products in compliance with SDLC/testing standards. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in automation using Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, or equivalent tools. - Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or .NET. - Hands-on experience in API testing, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Sound knowledge of test design techniques, test case management, and defect tracking. - Familiarity with cloud environments and microservices would be advantageous. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. - Certifications in automation testing or Agile methodologies. - Prior experience in the financial services domain would be beneficial. This job requires expertise in API Testing, Selenium, Python, and Automation Testing.,
