Job Description

As a Senior Technology Architect in the Healthcare Domain/Medical Devices, you will be responsible for leading the solution architecture and design of complex SaMD solutions, focusing on connected medical devices while considering scalability, performance, security, and regulatory requirements such as FDA and MDR. You will play a key role in translating client needs into comprehensive technical solutions, leading proposal development, and designing robust and secure connectivity solutions for medical devices in cloud environments like AWS and Azure. Your role will involve acting as the primary technical point of contact for clients, conducting needs assessments, presenting technical solutions, and building strong client relationships. You will be required to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences while defining and advocating architectural best practices for SaMD development. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, guiding them through the software development lifecycle from design to deployment. Evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and platforms for SaMD development, ensuring compliance with relevant medical device regulations and standards, and staying updated with the latest advancements in SaMD technologies and industry trends will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should have 12+ years of total IT experience with at least 5 years of experience in architecture, design, and development of SaMD solutions for large Medical Device Manufacturers. Extensive experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, proficiency in Java or .Net, knowledge of communication protocols, and a good understanding of SaMD regulations and guidance documents are essential. Strong client interaction skills, experience in technical proposals, and the ability to lead and mentor technical teams will also be required.
