Senior Technical Accountant

Job Description: As part of the Global Technical Accounting & Services organization at Swiss Re, you will report to the Manager Operations Southeast Asia & India. Your role involves consistently delivering on operational commitments and developing data analysis summaries to aid decision-making within and outside the Technical Accounting boundaries. You will monitor financial numbers in the Swiss Re system, identify adverse trends, and manage Cash in the books while upholding Swiss Re Values. Premium and Claims validation on Client Seriatim data is crucial to ensure compliance with Contract wordings/agreements. Additionally, you will play a key role in enhancing technical/process knowledge across the Technical Accounting team. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver on operational commitments and create data analysis summaries - Monitor financial numbers in the Swiss Re system and identify adverse trends - Manage Cash in the books and uphold Swiss Re Values - Validate Premium and Claims on Client Seriatim data - Enhance technical/process knowledge across the team Qualifications Required: - Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Accounting, Insurance, or equivalent field - 7+ years of work experience in banking/insurance or financial services industry - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Client management skills - Good data analytical skills; expertise in SAS & Python is an added advantage - Sound Insurance Product Knowledge & understanding of Insurance/Reinsurance End to End Value Chain About Swiss Re: Swiss Re is a global leader in reinsurance, insurance, and other forms of insurance-based risk transfer, focused on making the world more resilient.
