Senior Steward, Banquet, Restaurant

Role & responsibilities

• Setup and preparation:
• Arrange tables, chairs, and linens according to event layouts.
• Set up the banquet hall with necessary items, such as place settings, decorations, and service areas.
• Ensure all necessary equipment is in place and functioning.
• Service and guest interaction:
• Assist servers by clearing tables and refilling beverages during events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and serving areas throughout the event.
• Help other team members and be responsive to guest needs or requests.
• Cleaning and sanitation:
• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, and silverware.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed.
• Adhere to all sanitation, safety, and hygiene guidelines.
• Post-event duties:
• Assist with breakdown and cleanup of the banquet hall after the event.
• Ensure that the space is properly cleaned and reset for the next event.
• Complete assigned side work, such as cleaning and restocking.
