Senior Staff Test Engineer

Role Overview: As a seasoned and accomplished quality leader at Palo Alto Networks, you will be joining the Prisma SaaS team to design, develop, and deliver the next generation quality automation infrastructure product. This team plays a critical role within the Prisma SaaS team, focusing on enhancing SaaS security initiatives and contributing to the overall cybersecurity landscape. Your expertise in leading and qualifying complex technical architecture from a quality engineering perspective will be pivotal in scaling the product to new heights in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement highly scalable automation infrastructure for Prisma SaaS data security - Contribute to testing strategy, including functional, performance, and regression testing quality and vision - Maintain a customer-first mindset and act as a cultural champion by exemplifying organizational values - Collaborate with different development and quality assurance groups to ensure the best quality - Work closely with DevOps and technical support teams to troubleshoot and resolve customer-reported issues - Mentor and coach team members to foster growth and development - Drive engineering innovation by providing high-quality, simple solutions to complex problems - Cultivate a culture of engineering excellence, dynamic execution, and strong ownership mindset Qualifications Required: - Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent military experience - 9+ years of experience in Software Development in Test - Strong leadership skills with a problem-solving attitude - Proficiency in Java & Python programming - Experience in UI testing using Selenium/Playwright - Knowledge of micro-services and complex distributed products - Understanding of data structures and algorithms - Familiarity with DevOps tools (Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices) - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure - Exposure to queuing systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ - Previous experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members in high-performing teams - Preferred background in the Cyber Security domain Please note: The job may require occasional travel to the Gurugram office.
