Description
As an IVF Lab Staff member, your role involves checking the functionality of the lab and its equipment to ensure smooth operations. This includes tasks such as: - Checking humidity and temperature levels to maintain optimum conditions. - Cleaning instruments such as the K System with alcohol. - Verifying airflow from the meter. - Monitoring CO2 levels and pH of the incubators. - Checking liquid Nitrogen levels. Your responsibilities also include ensuring all prerequisites are in place for successful execution of scheduled cases, assisting the embryologist and consultants during procedures, and attending to patient queries related to semen sample analysis. Additionally, you will assist in processing IUI and other samples, maintain appointment schedules for Cryo-freezing and IUI, and collaborate with the IVF coordinator for processing IVF related samples. Keeping track of patient progress and maintaining records of procedures are also key responsibilities. Qualifications required for this role include: - A Registered nursing license. - GNM or B.Sc in nursing. - Minimum of 3 years' experience. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to offer emotional support to parents, guardians, and family members. - Working knowledge of NICU/Gynae specialized equipment. - Ability to work in a team. - Comforting ill newborns.
