Job Description

As an experienced Customer Engineering Account Manager at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be responsible for driving the execution of complex, multidisciplinary automotive programs with Qualcomm customers. You are expected to excel in an agile and forward-thinking environment where the balance of process, quality, and execution speed is crucial. Your role will involve working closely with Qualcomm Automotive customers to track project milestones, SOP schedules, FROP, upgrade schedules, and documentation. Key responsibilities include prioritizing, tracking, and resolving customer-reported issues, effectively communicating issue status to customers and internal senior executive teams, providing executive level program report status, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and logistical issues. Your qualifications for this role should include a BS/MS in Engineering or Computer Science, with 13+ years of experience in the embedded domain, particularly in heterogeneous compute platforms consisting of ARMs, GPUs, and DSPs. Additionally, you should have experience in managing customers across automotive programs in Technical Account management roles, a good understanding of Embedded Software architecture, Linux kernel internals, and hypervisor usage in automotive embedded systems. Hands-on experience in design, development, and software solutions on multi-core ARM/CPUs, as well as strong C/C++ programming skills, will be advantageous. Minimum qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 6+ years, 5+ years, or 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience, respectively. You should also have at least 3 years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc., and demonstrate good leadership skills across diverse functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for addressing complex technical challenges in this role.
