Senior Staff Engineer - TAM Automotive Cockpit

As a Customer Engineering Account Manager at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be responsible for driving the execution of complex, multidisciplinary automotive programs with Qualcomm customers. You are expected to thrive in an agile and forward-thinking environment where the balance of process, quality, and execution speed is crucial. Your role will involve working closely with Qualcomm Automotive customers, tracking project milestones, schedules, and documentation, as well as driving customer-reported issues to resolution. Effective communication with customers and internal senior executive teams is key to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Work with Qualcomm Automotive customers to track project milestones, schedules, and documentation - Prioritize, track, and drive customer-reported issues to resolution - Represent the urgency of issues and escalate them as appropriate - Communicate issue status to customers and internal senior executive teams - Regularly communicate program report status and key issues to management - Collaborate with engineering, quality, product management, and sales teams to resolve technical and logistical issues - Manage Qualcomm identified Suppliers and partner organizations working with OEMs/Tier1s Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field - 13+ years of experience in embedded domain with knowledge of heterogeneous compute platforms - Experience in managing customers across automotive programs - Understanding of Embedded Software architecture, Linux kernel internals, and firmware limitations - Hands-on experience in design and development of software solutions on multi-core ARM/CPUs with strong C/C++ programming skills - Good leadership skills and strong analytical abilities Additional Details: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing accessible processes for individuals with disabilities.
