Senior Specialist - Direct Tax

As an Assistant in our Tax department, you will be responsible for assisting in all DT and TP compliances for Indian and overseas entities, which includes countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. This involves tasks such as handling advance tax, WHT, tax audit, TP audits, tax returns, etc. Additionally, you will be involved in the monthly computation of tax provision and deferred tax. Your role will also include the preparation of tax schedules and reconciliation, ensuring that tax returns align with the books, and managing interactions with statutory and tax auditors. You will assist in dealing with tax audits, assessments, departmental audits, and responding to queries and notices from tax authorities. Furthermore, you will support the preparation of transfer pricing schedules and handle tax-related inquiries from business operations. Your involvement in projects and special studies from a tax perspective will be crucial in providing valuable insights and analysis. We are looking for individuals with a B Com and Chartered Accountant background, preferably freshers. Knowledge of Tax Compliance and litigation, along with a strong understanding of direct tax and accounting principles, is essential for this role. Effective communication skills are key, and experience with SAP is considered advantageous. Your assistance in Tax-related compliances such as ITR filing, tax audit, transfer pricing audit, and the preparation of Form 15CA will be integral to the smooth functioning of our Tax department.
