Senior Solutions Architect Networking Ethernet - NVIS

As a Senior Networking (ETH) Solutions Architect at NVIDIA, you will be joining the NVIDIA Infrastructure Specialist Team. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI/HPC infrastructure projects and collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to deliver exceptional Networking solutions. Your role will involve analyzing, defining, and implementing large-scale Networking projects, as well as providing support in system design and automation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build AI/HPC infrastructure for new and existing customers. - Support operational and reliability aspects of large-scale AI clusters, focusing on performance, real-time monitoring, logging, and alerting. - Engage in the entire lifecycle of services, from inception and design to deployment, operation, and refinement. - Maintain services post-deployment by monitoring availability, latency, and system health. - Provide feedback to internal teams, including opening bugs, documenting workarounds, and suggesting improvements. **Qualifications Required:** - BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields. - Minimum 5 years of professional experience in networking fundamentals, TCP/IP stack, and data center architecture. - Proficient in configuring, testing, and resolving issues in LAN networks, particularly in medium to large-scale HPC/AI environments. - Advanced knowledge of EVPN, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN protocols. - Hands-on experience with network switch/router platforms such as Cumulus Linux, SONiC, IOS, JunosOS, and EOS. - Extensive experience in automated network provisioning using tools like Ansible, Salt, and Python. - Ability to develop CI/CD pipelines for network operations. - Strong customer focus, self-motivation, and leadership skills for effective collaboration. - Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills in English. In addition to the above qualifications, standing out from the crowd can be achieved by: - Familiarity with cloud networks (AWS, GCP, Azure). - Linux or Networking Certifications. - Experience with High-performance computing architectures and job schedulers (Slurm, PBS). - Knowledge of cluster management technologies, with bonus points for BCM (Base Command Manager). - Experience with GPU-focused hardware/software.
