Senior Solutions Architect, Infiniband and Networking Ethernet - NVIS

As a Senior Networking (ETH/IB) Solutions Architect at NVIDIA, you will be joining the NVIDIA Infrastructure Specialist Team. NVIDIA's products are utilized worldwide by academic and commercial groups to innovate deep learning, data analytics, and data center capabilities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to building some of the largest and fastest AI/HPC systems globally. Your interpersonal skills will be crucial as you collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to analyze, define, and implement large-scale Networking projects, serving as the face of NVIDIA to the customer. Your primary responsibilities will focus on constructing AI/HPC infrastructure for both new and existing customers, ensuring the operational and reliability aspects of large-scale AI clusters are maintained at peak performance. You will be involved in the entire service lifecycle, from inception and design to deployment, operation, and refinement, as well as monitoring system health and providing feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement. To be successful in this role, you should hold a BS/MS/PhD or possess equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields. Additionally, you should have at least 5+ years of professional experience in networking fundamentals, TCP/IP stack, and data center architecture. Proficiency in configuring, testing, validating, and troubleshooting LAN and InfiniBand networks, particularly in medium to large-scale HPC/AI environments, is essential. Advanced knowledge of protocols like EVPN, BGP, OSPF, and VXLAN is required, along with hands-on experience with network switch/router platforms such as Cumulus Linux, SONiC, IOS, JunosOS, and EOS. Experience in delivering automated network provisioning solutions using tools like Ansible, Salt, and Python, as well as developing CI/CD pipelines for network operations, is highly beneficial. Strong customer focus, self-motivation, leadership skills, and excellent written, verbal, and listening skills in English are essential qualities for this role. To further distinguish yourself, having familiarity with cloud networks (AWS, GCP, Azure), Linux or Networking Certifications, experience with High-performance computing architectures, knowledge of cluster management technologies like BCM (Base Command Manager), and experience with GPU-focused hardware/software would be advantageous.
