Senior Solutions Architect, Infiniband and Networking Ethernet

As a Senior Networking Solutions Architect at NVIDIA, you will be part of the NVIDIA Infrastructure Specialist Team, working with academic and commercial groups worldwide who are leveraging NVIDIA products to advance deep learning, data analytics, and power data centers. Join us in the journey of building some of the largest and fastest AI/HPC systems globally. Your role will involve interacting with customers, partners, and internal teams to analyze, define, and implement large-scale Networking projects, making you the face of NVIDIA to our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include constructing AI/HPC infrastructure for both new and existing customers, focusing on operational and reliability aspects of large-scale AI clusters. This involves ensuring performance at scale, real-time monitoring, logging, alerting, and engaging in the entire lifecycle of services from design through deployment, operation, and refinement. You will also be responsible for maintaining services post-launch by monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health while providing valuable feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement. To excel in this role, we require you to have a BS/MS/PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields. You should possess a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in networking fundamentals, TCP/IP stack, and data center architecture. Proficiency in configuring, testing, validating, and troubleshooting LAN and InfiniBand networks, especially in medium to large-scale HPC/AI environments is essential. Additionally, advanced knowledge of EVPN, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN protocols, hands-on experience with network switch/router platforms, and expertise in delivering automated network provisioning solutions using tools like Ansible, Salt, and Python are required. You should also be capable of developing CI/CD pipelines for network operations, have a strong customer-centric focus, self-motivation, leadership skills, and excellent written, verbal, and listening skills in English. To distinguish yourself, familiarity with cloud networks (AWS, GCP, Azure), Linux or Networking Certifications, experience with High-performance computing architectures, knowledge of cluster management technologies, and experience with GPU-focused hardware/software will be advantageous.
