As a Senior Software Engineer in the Test Hub team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the testing tool by leveraging modern backend technologies. Your responsibilities will involve building and engineering a high-velocity business focused on web, mobile, and desktop test automation. The technical stack for this position includes C++, C#, Delphi, Windows programming (COM, WinApi), and GUI (DevExpress). The Test Hub product addresses the increasing challenge of delivering high-quality apps quickly in a market with diverse use cases and configurations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop one of SmartBear's key products and collaborate with frontend and backend teams to ensure seamless integrations. Your involvement in technical discussions, requirement analysis, and maintaining high engineering standards will be critical. Additionally, you will work on driving test coverage, code quality, and engaging with cross-functional teams distributed across different locations. We are seeking candidates with extensive experience in software engineering using C++, knowledge of Delphi, 6+ years of backend development experience, familiarity with Windows programming, and proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and building SDKs. A solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and performance best practices is required. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience is preferred, along with English language skills at least at a B2 level.
