Senior Software Engineer / Team Lead

Role Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer at Zenvayal, you will play a crucial role in revolutionizing the future of food by architecting systems that empower farmers, enhance food supply chains, and enhance transparency in food consumption. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and scale core platforms for internal operations, farmer network, and consumer-facing experiences - Architect data-rich traceability tools to track food from farm to fork - Develop customer-facing products including web apps, mobile tools, and dashboards for various purposes - Integrate IoT and AgriTech by working with sensors, smart devices, and analytics for digitizing farms - Mentor junior engineers to guide and grow the development team - Collaborate with product, design, agri-ops, and content teams to launch impactful features Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of experience in building and shipping production-level web or mobile applications - Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, or any modern backend framework - Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other scalable databases - Comfort with CI/CD, version control, and cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP - Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture - Ownership mindset with a focus on building products rather than just completing tasks - Bonus: Experience with IoT, GIS, agritech, or supply chain systems Additional Information: Zenvayal offers you the opportunity to be part of India's agri-tech revolution, work on products that combine tradition with deep tech, experience absolute ownership and startup-style speed, build technology that directly impacts farmers and consumers, and be part of a small team with a big vision and global impact.
